Icelandic horses and wonderful nature!
Green forests, winding brooks, small lakes and the clatter of horses' hoofs, what could possible be more refreshing than that? After a long and refreshing day in the forest on a horseback, breathing fresh air, you'll eat a delicious and exotic dinner which the innkeeper himself has cooked and sleep in one of our comfortable cottages on the yard.
Icelandic horses We have 11 well-trained Icelandic horses. We adjust the length and pace of the trips after your experience as a rider and you can enjoy riding our wonderful horses even if you've never done it before. Without experience you need to be 15 years old but children over 10 years with experience can join us as well.

Food and lodging Stay in a comfortable cottage on the yard. There are four beds in each cottage, shower/wc and a small kitchen where you can make your own cup of coffee. The fresh air will make you hungry and we dare promise that you won't starve! Breakfast will be brought to your cottage. Lunch and dinner will be served in the house where you will eat together with the innkeeper and his family.

Location Our farm is situated at a lonely spot with 500 meters to our nearest neighbour and 2 km to the closest village. Here you can ramble around and maybe even track down a moose. Road 156 from Skene: Turn left when you see the sign Roasjö and follow that road for 7 km. Turn right at the crossing, from there it's only 2 km till you see the sign Apelnäs, turn right again and follow the road for another 2 km and you're at your destination.
